Approximately 30% of people who have weight loss surgery are not successful. By working with a nutritionist and a personal trainer after your bariatric surgery, you will have more chances of success. However, it is still up to you as an individual to succeed.
As a personal trainers who have had close ones go through the procedure of weight loss surgery and/or needed to lose weight themselves we understand the obstacles experienced is unique to each and every person. There will be times you will need to take it easy to recover from your surgery or prepare for your surgery. We are aware of the times it may take to recover or prepare for different surgeries. As part of our training we plan for these breaks in training, and recovery.
We know that each person has their own challenges to overcome, and for this reason there is certain steps we take in order to find the right training program for you.

Anytime before bariatric surgery
3-6 months after bariatric surgery
12 months after bariatric surgery
18 months after bariatric surgery
24 months after bariatric surgery
36 months after bariatric surgery
6-12 months after plastic surgery
While you may wish to start training at these times, you will require clearance from your surgeon or doctor (GP) before commencing training.
After your surgery you will not be able to train immediately, however, there will come a time that you will be able to begin your training. It is easier to get results by adding physical activity to your program. Everyone is different and weighloss effects everyone differently. After your surgery, depending on who you are, you may not lose weight immediately, you may loose weight slowly or you may loose a lot of weight then plateau. What ever your position is we will be able to assist you.
